SA Next Generation Group is part of a national network with Next Gen groups existing in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland. Together these groups feed into the structure of Agricultural Shows of Australia.

Globally, Next Generation groups are also represented by the Next Generation of the Royal Agricultural Societies of the Commonwealth (RASC).  RASC holds a biennial Agriculture Conference of the Commonwealth, with the next conference to be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 29th October to 5th November 2026

In the alternate years (from 2007 to 2019) RASC provided opportunities for Next Gen members to undertake 'Understanding and Assistance Missions' in Commonwealth countries, exposing members to agriculture in the region and allowing them to participate in a hands on approach.
